The Friend of the Sea Sustainable Fishing Certification is the only sustainable fisheries certification process recognised and supervised globally by a National Accreditation Body, it certifies Pevasa’s sustainable fishing in the Atlantic and Indian Ocean.

We first certified our activity with Friend of the Sea back in 2009, and we have kept this certification since then. The Sustainable Fishing Certification enables us prove that we are practicing responsible fishing with sustainable management, based on the implementation of good practices.”

The Sustainable Fishing Certification is obtained after a rigorous audit process carried out by an external and independent auditor, who has verified Pevasa’s compliance with the standards set by Friend of the Sea.
