Friend of the Sea, the preeminent certification standard for products and services that respect and protect the marine environment, announced that it has certified GreenPeach, a maker of nutritional products, for sourcing Omega 3 oil from certified sustainable methods. The California-based company can now display the Friend of the Sea logo on its products that contain Omega 3 oils.

GreenPeach’s Omega 3 oil is the highest grade available. It is made from fresh wild-caught sardines, mackerel, herring and anchovies. A third-party lab tests the company’s Omega 3 oils for purity and potency. GreenPeach packages and processes its Omega 3 productsin an FDA-regulated, ISO 9001-certified facility that is equipped with carbon neutral, geothermal labs. All Omega 3 products are non-GMO.
