Friend of the Sea at TUNA 2026: Paolo Bray among the speakers in Bangkok

From 14 to 16 September 2026, Bangkok will become a hub for international discussion on the future of the tuna industry with the 19th edition of TUNA, the conference organised by INFOFISH that brings together industry representatives, institutions, organisations and experts from around the world.

Among the speakers at TUNA 2026 will be Paolo Bray, Founder and Director of Friend of the Sea, who will bring to the conference more than thirty years of experience in marine conservation and the seafood sector.

On 16 September, Bray will speak during Session 6, “Sustainability, Certification & Social Accountability”, dedicated to certification and social responsibility.

During his presentation, he will address the evolution of certification and emerging requirements related to responsible sourcing, transparency and consumer trust. He will also discuss the importance of clear and verifiable environmental communication, as well as the role of new technologies in strengthening monitoring and verification processes throughout the supply chain.

For Friend of the Sea, participation in TUNA 2026 represents an important opportunity to engage with leading international stakeholders in the sector and share its experience in certification and marine ecosystem protection.
