Ovega3® Swiss Premium Quality is a food supplement from safe natural raw materials of the highest quality. It contains good omega-3 fatty acids and three natural antioxidants: astaxanthin, camu-camu (vitamin C) and coenzyme Q10.
EPA and DHA contribute to normal blood pressure and normal heart and brain function. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
Omega-3 basics
Omega-3s are essential fatty acids that our bodies cannot produce, which means our bodies get them from the food we eat. Here are three best-known omega-3 fatty acids:
ALA = alpha linolenic acid, contained in vegetable oil
EPA = eicosapentaenoic acid, contained in fish oil
DHA = docosahexaenoic acid, contained in fish oil
ALA is a precursor to EPA & DHA.
EPA & DHA are the true active omega-3 substances that have the desired positive effect on our bodies. Most scientific studies are conducted with the omega-3 fatty acids EPA & DHA.
Ovega3® is environmentally friendly and protects the fish population
The fish oil contained in Ovega3® is made from Friend of the Sea® (www.friendofthesea.org) eco-sustainable certified fish. Friend of the Sea® is a non-profit NGO whose mission is to protect the marine habitat. Fishing must not alter or destroy the integrity of the seabed and the by-catch rate must be less than 8% of the total. Friend of the Sea® is part of the Zero Impact® project.
The three natural antioxidants
Astaxanthin, vitamin C and coenzyme Q10 are three natural and very powerful antioxidants, contained in Ovega3®. The main task of antioxidants is to protect against oxidative stress and fight free radicals. Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal function of the immune system.
The precious coenzyme Q10 – obtained from natural fermentation – has excellent and multiple properties.
Small soft capsules
Since 2002, EnergyBalance® has been using only capsules of vegetable origin for Ovega3®. The capsules are small and soft, making them easy to swallow.
Recommended daily intake
Beyond the age of 7 years, swallow 2 to (max.) 10 capsules, with or before a meal. Pregnant or lactating women: max. 1 capsule per day. Protect from sunlight. Store in a cool and dry place (suggested temperature: 15-25° C). Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important. Keep out of the reach of young children. It is not a medicinal product.
