Omega 3 fatty acids play an important role in nerve balance and cardiovascular balance1,2. As with some vitamins, many scientific studies have confirmed their beneficial effects on health in general and on cardiovascular health in particular. Omega 3s are, therefore, essential for the proper functioning of our body at all stages of life (brain, cardiovascular system, etc.), as well as vitamins and minerals.

Some fatty acids are called “essential” because our body is not able to synthesize them. This is the case of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a precursor of all omega 3 fatty acids, including EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). The synthesis of these two polyunsaturated fatty acids from ALA is very low.

Therefore, the body must extract these two omega 3, EPA and DHA from the diet, especially by the consumption of some vegetable oils, such as walnut or rapeseed oil and oily fish (sardines, mackerel, tuna, herring, etc.). Therefore, food supplements based on omega 3 EPA and DHA can be recommended to complete the contributions of the foods consumed.

All fish oils rich in omega 3 are not the same. We, the LESCUYER Laboratory, offer you OMEGA 3, a food supplement based on cold sea wild fish oil, of pharmaceutical quality and in accordance with the strictest requirements.
