Biosearch Life obtains Friend of the Sea certification for Omega-3 products

Biosearch S.A – biotechnology company that manufactures innovative and functional foods – has obtained Friend of the Sea certification for Omega-3 products originating from European sardine, Peruvian anchovy and Yellowfin tuna.

A leader in biotechnology, the Spanish company has created a unique range of products rich in Omega-3 EPA and DHA fatty acids, using crude fish oils received from Friend of the Sea approved suppliers.

The company purifies raw materials in its industrial facilities, based in Spain, preparing them to be incorporated, in a stable manner and with an excellent flavor, into a variety of products, including bakery, dairy products, beverages and others, available worldwide.

“The Friend of the Sea certificate places Biosearch Life one step forward in its environmental commitment and helps expand the market with clients whose motivation coincides with the same goals of fostering the future of the marine species,” says Jose Maria Roset, CEO of Biosearch Life.
