Temakinho is the first restaurant chain to obtain Friend of the Sea certification

Temakinho

Temakinho – the Japanese – Brazilian restaurant with multiple locations in Italy and Spain – has obtained the Friend of the Sea certification for sustainable restaurant chains and can now display the official seal of approval.

In compliance with the main certification requirements, the majority of the chain’s seafood is certified by Friend of the Sea or Global G.A.P equivalent.

Certified species include Atlantic salmon, Red drum, European sea bass, Yellowtail amberjack and Yellowfin tuna.

“Sustainability is no doubt the key to the future: the only way to ensure a future for us and for the generations to come,” says Linda Maroli, Temakinho’s Marketing and Communications Manager. “Sustainability has been part of Temakinho’s philosophy since we opened our first restaurant in 2012. We are extremely proud to be the first restaurant chain in the world to obtain the Friend of the Sea certification that gives our customers the certainty of finding at Temakinho high – quality and sustainable seafood products.”
