Omega-3 supplements by Eniva USA now FoS certified from sustainable fisheries

EnivaEniva’s Omega3 supplements are now carrying Friend of the Sea seal of approval. The fish oil ingredient originates from approved Friend of the Sea sustainable fisheries.

The fish oil is obtained from anchovies fished in the South East Pacific Ocean by a Friend of the Sea approved purse seine fleet. The fishery is managed according to sustainable criteria, with highly selective fishing methods, and from stocks that are neither overfished nor overexploited.

“Marine habitat preservation is a priority at Eniva, together with nutraceutical innovation,” explains Mr. Andrew Baechler, CEO of Eniva. “We care for the environment and that’s why we rely on Friend of the Sea to prove the sustainable origin of our products.”
