The Philippine fishing company Frabelle has recently concluded Friend of the Sea certification renewal audit. Yellowfin, skipjack, bigeye and bullet tuna from the fishing company can continue to display the official seal of approval.

The fish is caught through purse seine method by the company’s certified vessels in the Western Central part of the Pacific Ocean.

Frabelle distributes its seafood products internationally, including Europe, Middle East and North America.

“Friend of the Sea has become the leading certification program,” says Floyd Tiu Laurel, Senior Vice President at Frabelle. “We are happy that our sustainability values and goals have aligned over the last years.”
