The move is intended to align the criteria with the latest scientific evidence with the goal of ensuring a better future for the world\u2019s oceans. Stakeholders are invited to contribute.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will succeed if we do this together, bringing the best minds to the huge task of preserving the marine environment,\u201d said Paolo Bray, Director of Friend of the Sea. \u201cIf you are interested in sharing your insights and knowledge, we welcome your contributions.\u201d Stakeholders should check the <a href=\"https:\/\/friendofthesea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/20092019_ToR-revision-process_draft_public.pdf\">ToR of the revision process<\/a> to see the scope and objectives of this revision process, justification of the need for the standard, guidance on comments and suggestions, timelines and decision-making procedure.<\/p>\n<p>The revision process applies to new \u201cFOS \u2013 Wild Caught Standard v.4\u201d and \u201cFOS &#8211; Audit Guidance v.2.\u201d FOS has made it possible to download the documents under revision in PDF files.
