Yellowfin, skipjack, bigeye and bullet tuna from the fishing company can continue to display the official seal of approval.<\/p>\n<p>The fish is caught through purse seine method by the company\u2019s certified vessels in the Western Central part of the Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>Frabelle distributes its seafood products internationally, including Europe, Middle East and North America.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFriend of the Sea has become the leading certification program,\u201d says <strong>Floyd Tiu Laurel<\/strong>, Senior Vice President at Frabelle. \u201cWe are happy that our sustainability values and goals have aligned over the last years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>MORE INFORMATION <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Frabelle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Frabelle has been established in the Philippines in the 1960\u2019s. Based in Navotas, the company has expanded its operations to many countries, including Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Frabelle relies on strict sustainable procedures that reflect an environmentally friendly business approach.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.frabelle.com \">www.frabelle.com <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friend of the Sea<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Friend of the Sea is an international certification program for products from sustainable fisheries and aquaculture. Over 500 companies in more than 50 countries have relied on Friend of the Sea to assess the sustainable origin of their seafood. Audits, based on the best and the most updated available scientific data, are run by accredited independent certification bodies.
