Ogni etichetta abbina il logo rotondo Friend of the Sea a un <strong>claim di certificazione<\/strong> chiaro e specifico per il settore ed \u00e8 accompagnata da un codice <strong>FOS ID univoco<\/strong>, che collega il claim alla relativa certificazione verificata e autorizzata.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019aggiornamento \u00e8 in linea con la <strong>Direttiva (UE) 2024\/825 sulla responsabilizzazione dei consumatori per la transizione verde (\u201cEmpCo\u201d)<\/strong>, applicabile negli Stati membri dell\u2019UE dal 27 settembre 2026, che introduce requisiti pi\u00f9 rigorosi per i claim e le etichette ambientali e rafforza la tutela contro le comunicazioni ambientali ingannevoli.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un\u2019etichetta che indica esattamente ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 certificato<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019etichetta contiene il <strong>logo rotondo Friend of the Sea<\/strong>, uno specifico <strong>claim di certificazione<\/strong> (ad esempio \u201cCertificato Standard Pesca\u201d) e l\u2019<strong>indirizzo web<\/strong> di Friend of the Sea ed \u00e8 accompagnata dal <strong>codice di tracciabilit\u00e0 FOS ID<\/strong>, posizionato direttamente sotto di essa. Sono disponibili etichette e claim dedicati per ciascun settore certificato, dalla pesca e acquacoltura agli omega-3, al collagene marino e alle creme solari, tra i <strong>22 standard inclusi nell\u2019Official Product Claims Register<\/strong>. Le aziende possono cos\u00ec comunicare con precisione ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 stato certificato, mentre i consumatori ricevono a colpo d\u2019occhio informazioni pi\u00f9 chiare e specifiche. Il logo rotondo resta l\u2019elemento centrale dell\u2019etichetta: un marchio utilizzato dal 2008, ora accompagnato da <strong>una chiara indicazione di ci\u00f2 che rappresenta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Una certificazione fondata su accreditamento, indipendenza e sostenibilit\u00e0 a 360\u00b0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Direttiva EmpCo richiede che le etichette di sostenibilit\u00e0 siano <strong>basate su uno schema di certificazione o istituite da autorit\u00e0 pubbliche.<\/strong> Friend of the Sea ritiene di essere da sempre in linea con questo approccio, poich\u00e9 la sua certificazione si fonda su:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li><strong>Certificazione indipendente e accreditata: <\/strong>audit in loco condotti da organismi di certificazione indipendenti, accreditati secondo la norma ISO\/IEC 17065 da organismi nazionali di accreditamento firmatari dell\u2019accordo di mutuo riconoscimento Global ACI, quali Accredia (Italia), ANAB (Stati Uniti), SLAB (Sri Lanka) e KAN (Indonesia).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Riconoscimento Global ACI: <\/strong>gli standard Friend of the Sea per i prodotti ittici costituiscono uno schema riconosciuto da Global ACI (Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated, precedentemente IAF) e Friend of the Sea \u00e8 l\u2019unico schema di certificazione della pesca accreditato da un organismo nazionale di accreditamento, Accredia, in conformit\u00e0 alla norma ISO\/IEC 17065.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Un approccio completo alla sostenibilit\u00e0: <\/strong>criteri che considerano le dimensioni ambientale, sociale ed economica, includendo, ad esempio, requisiti relativi ai diritti e alla sicurezza dei lavoratori.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tracciabilit\u00e0, monitoraggio e responsabilit\u00e0: <\/strong>requisiti relativi alla catena di custodia, monitoraggio continuo dell\u2019uso dell\u2019etichetta e strumenti quali il tracciamento satellitare delle imbarcazioni, ove applicabile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLa fiducia \u00e8 alla base di una certificazione credibile. Riteniamo che Friend of the Sea sia da sempre in linea con lo spirito di questa Direttiva, perch\u00e9 la nostra certificazione \u00e8 indipendente, accreditata e considera la sostenibilit\u00e0 nel suo complesso. Con le nuove etichette abbiamo scelto di rendere il nostro messaggio ancora pi\u00f9 specifico, facendo leva sulla forza del logo stesso: il logo rotondo Friend of the Sea, un claim chiaro su ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 certificato e un FOS ID che chiunque pu\u00f2 verificare. In questo modo rafforziamo il rapporto di fiducia tra le aziende certificate e i consumatori che scelgono i loro prodotti\u201d, <\/em><strong>ha aggiunto Paolo Bray, Fondatore e Direttore di Friend of the Sea.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>FOS ID e claim facoltativi: sempre chiaramente collegati all\u2019etichetta<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FOS ID: <\/strong>riportato nel formato \u201c<strong>FOS ID: 1234<\/strong>\u201d, collega l\u2019etichetta al <strong>prodotto certificato<\/strong> e all\u2019azienda che lo produce, nonch\u00e9 <strong>alla validit\u00e0 e alla data di scadenza del certificato<\/strong>, offrendo ai consumatori una maggiore tracciabilit\u00e0 e alle aziende certificate una tutela aggiuntiva. Deve essere posizionato direttamente sotto l\u2019etichetta, in modo da risultare facilmente e chiaramente collegato ad essa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Claim esplicativi facoltativi: <\/strong>l\u2019etichetta indica gi\u00e0 lo standard certificato. Le aziende che desiderano descrivere pi\u00f9 nel dettaglio l\u2019ambito della certificazione possono <strong>aggiungere uno dei testi pre-approvati dell\u2019Official Product Claims Register<\/strong> (compatto, standard o esteso), riprodotto senza modifiche. Questi claim sono facoltativi e non obbligatori, cos\u00ec da non penalizzare le confezioni pi\u00f9 piccole per limiti di spazio. Quando utilizzati, devono essere posizionati direttamente accanto o sotto l\u2019etichetta e il FOS ID.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Linee guida e claim in 24 lingue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Friend of the Sea ha predisposto claim per le etichette e claim esplicativi facoltativi in un massimo di <strong>24 lingue, a seconda dello standard<\/strong>. Coprono 14 delle 24 lingue ufficiali dell\u2019UE e molte delle lingue pi\u00f9 diffuse al mondo, tra cui inglese, cinese, hindi, spagnolo, francese, arabo e portoghese, affinch\u00e9 le aziende possano utilizzare la versione corrispondente alla lingua ufficiale di ciascun mercato. Se una lingua non \u00e8 ancora disponibile, \u00e8 possibile richiedere a WSO una versione ufficiale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le linee guida per l&#8217;uso del logo e dell&#8217;etichetta <\/strong>definiscono le varianti ufficiali delle etichette, i colori, le dimensioni minime, lo spazio libero, il posizionamento del FOS ID e gli utilizzi da evitare. Alle aziende certificate viene inoltre richiesto di <strong>non associare l\u2019etichetta a dichiarazioni ambientali generiche e non verificate<\/strong> e di indicare chiaramente quando la certificazione si applica soltanto a uno specifico ingrediente o componente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flessibilit\u00e0 nell\u2019adattamento delle etichette. <\/strong>Sebbene WSO raccomandi fortemente l\u2019utilizzo delle etichette ufficiali, adotta un <strong>approccio pragmatico<\/strong> e consente alle aziende di <strong>adattare il layout<\/strong> del claim, dell\u2019URL e del FOS ID alle esigenze di spazio sulla confezione, al design grafico, ai colori e al carattere tipografico, senza modificarne il contenuto. <strong>Tutti gli adattamenti devono essere sottoposti a WSO \/ Friend of the Sea e formalmente approvati per iscritto prima della stampa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le etichette e le linee guida aggiornate vengono introdotte progressivamente sui prodotti certificati Friend of the Sea e nelle relative comunicazioni.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Informazioni su Friend of the Sea<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Friend of the Sea \u00e8 il progetto della World Sustainability Organization (WSO) dedicato alla certificazione di prodotti e servizi che rispettano e proteggono l\u2019ambiente marino.
