{"id":587760,"date":"2026-07-02T09:30:51","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T07:30:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/friendofthesea.org\/?p=587760"},"modified":"2026-07-02T09:31:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T07:31:48","slug":"trolly-torna-in-mare-una-storia-di-conservazione-condivisa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/friendofthesea.org\/it\/trolly-torna-in-mare-una-storia-di-conservazione-condivisa\/","title":{"rendered":"Trolly torna in mare: una storia di conservazione condivisa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><i>World Sustainability Foundation, Fondazione Cetacea e Roncalli Viaggi unite per la tutela delle tartarughe marine dell&#8217;Adriatico.<\/i><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span>Luned\u00ec 15 giugno, Trolly, una giovane tartaruga\u00a0<em>Caretta caretta,<\/em>\u00a0vittima della pesca a strascico e ricoverata presso la\u00a0<a title=\"Fondazione Cetacea\" href=\"https:\/\/fondazionecetacea.org\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #2828da;\">Fondazione Cetacea<\/span><\/a>, \u00e8 tornata nel suo habitat naturale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">La sua liberazione rappresenta il lieto fine di una storia di recupero, ma anche il simbolo della campagna promossa da Fondazione Cetacea,\u00a0<a title=\"World Sustainability Foundation\" href=\"https:\/\/worldsustainabilityfoundation.org\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #2828da;\">World Sustainability Foundation<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(WSF) e\u00a0<a title=\"Roncalli Viaggi\" href=\"https:\/\/www.roncalliviaggi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #2828da;\">Roncalli Viaggi<\/span><\/a>\u00a0a sostegno della salvaguardia delle tartarughe marine dell\u2019Adriatico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><b>Le minacce che colpiscono le tartarughe marine<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">In oltre 30 anni di attivit\u00e0, Fondazione Cetacea, organizzazione non profit impegnata nella tutela dell\u2019ecosistema marino, ha curato e restituito al mare oltre 1.000 tartarughe marine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">La principale causa di ricovero \u00e8 la pesca a strascico. Le tartarughe marine raggiungono il fondale per alimentarsi e riposare e possono rimanere intrappolate nelle reti, con conseguenze anche fatali. Tra le altre minacce figurano le collisioni con le imbarcazioni, gli urti contro gli scogli durante le mareggiate e l\u2019ingestione di plastica e microplastiche.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Il percorso di cura personalizzato attivato per ogni esemplare recuperato \u00e8 reso possibile dall\u2019impegno quotidiano di veterinari, operatori e volontari che mettono il proprio tempo e la propria passione al servizio delle tartarughe marine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><b>L\u2019importanza della collaborazione in mare<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">La collaborazione tra pescatori, operatori del mare e istituzioni \u00e8 fondamentale per la sopravvivenza di questi animali. Quando una tartaruga viene catturata accidentalmente o trovata ferita, una segnalazione tempestiva alla Fondazione Cetacea pu\u00f2 salvarle la vita.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Spesso, per\u00f2, ci\u00f2 non avviene e molte tartarughe vengono ancora rigettate in mare senza ricevere le cure necessarie. Per questo motivo la sensibilizzazione degli operatori marittimi resta una delle attivit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 importanti portate avanti dalla Fondazione.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><b>Il rilascio insieme alla Guardia di Finanza<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Anche Trolly \u00e8 stata vittima di una cattura accidentale legata alle attivit\u00e0 di pesca a strascico. La giovane Caretta caretta era ricoverata presso la Fondazione Cetacea da dicembre 2025 ed \u00e8 stata rilasciata durante l\u2019operazione del 15 giugno 2026, insieme alla tartaruga Ciccio, salvata dalla Guardia di Finanza. Quest\u2019ultima ha seguito personalmente l\u2019operazione di rilascio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Accompagnate dai sommozzatori, Trolly e Ciccio hanno ripreso il largo mostrando tutta la forza e l\u2019istinto che le richiamavano verso il loro ambiente naturale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><b>La campagna con World Sustainability Foundation e Roncalli Viaggi<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">La storia di Trolly \u00e8 diventata il simbolo di una collaborazione dedicata alla conservazione delle tartarughe marine che ha coinvolto Fondazione Cetacea, World Sustainability Foundation e Roncalli Viaggi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Dal 2022 World Sustainability Foundation, ramo non profit della World Sustainability Organization, sostiene progetti di conservazione e tutela delle specie a rischio. Attraverso il progetto\u00a0<a title=\"Save The Turtles\" href=\"https:\/\/friendofthesea.org\/marine-conservation-projects-and-awareness\/save-the-turtles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #2828da;\">Save The Turtles<\/span><\/a>\u00a0supporta le attivit\u00e0 di recupero, cura e sensibilizzazione portate avanti da Fondazione Cetacea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Tra i sostenitori del progetto figura anche Roncalli Viaggi, prima realt\u00e0 italiana certificata dalla WSO per il turismo sostenibile, che sostiene numerose iniziative ambientali promosse dalla fondazione e ha contribuito attivamente anche alla campagna dedicata a Trolly. Un esempio concreto \u00e8 stato\u00a0<a title=\"il progetto Batti il Cinque\" href=\"https:\/\/friendofthesea.org\/it\/batti-il-cinque\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #2828da;\">il progetto Batti il Cinque<\/span><\/a>, avviato nell\u2019estate del 2025, grazie al quale sono stati donati 5 euro per ogni viaggio prenotato tramite l\u2019agenzia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\"><b>Un impegno che continua<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">La liberazione di Trolly rappresenta un importante traguardo, ma la tutela delle tartarughe marine richiede un impegno costante.
