The company was originally certified in 2012. With the recertification, Fontaine can continue to display the Friend of the Seaeco-label on its extensive catalog of seafood products. <br><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica;\"> \u201cWe admire Fontaine Nahrungsmittel\u2019s commitment to organic production and their respect for sustainability,\u201d said <b>Paolo Bray, Director of Friend of the Sea<\/b>. \u201cThey should serve as an inspiration for the broader industry.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica;\"> The family-run company has remained independent since its founding in 1988. Their products include organic raising agents and certified fish products with agricultural ingredients from certified organic farming. They offer tuna, tunafor pasta, sardines, wild salmon, wild salmon soup, herring, mackerel, fishsales and shellfish.
