align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Pordenone, 14 February 2018<\/em>. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.friendofthesea.org\/\">Friend of the Sea<\/a><\/strong>, a major international certification scheme for sustainable seafood and aquaculture products, will exhibit at <strong>AquaFarm 2018<\/strong>, inside Pordenone Fiere, Italy, on February 15 and 16, 2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>As a reference trade show and expo, AquaFarm will be the ideal framework to host <strong>one-to-one meetings <\/strong>between the representatives of selected<strong> large-scale retailers<\/strong> and the <strong>Horeca world<\/strong> with <strong>certified Italian and foreign seafood and aquaculture companies<\/strong> \u2013 Spain, Mauritius, Corsica and Panama among the represented countries &#8211; who have obtained a Friend of the Sea\u2019s certification for a number of different commercial species: cobia, trout, bream, seabass, tuna and others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>\u201c<em>For us, AquaFarm\u2019s first edition was an important moment of connection with major industry players<\/em>\u201d claims <strong>Paolo Bray<\/strong>, Friend of the Sea\u2019s Director. \u201c<em>Therefore, we\u2019ve decided to optimize our participation in the trade show by facilitating individual meetings between <strong>buyers <\/strong>potentially interested in sustainable products and our seafood and aquaculture <strong>certified companies<\/strong>, prime examples of respect towards nature and social accountability<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Besides requesting information about <strong>Friend of the Sea\u2019s certification for sustainable seafood and aquaculture products<\/strong>, its projects for the protection and the conservation of marine habitats and the one promoting <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.friendofthesea.org\/IT\/news-doc.asp?CAT=1&amp;ID=1110\">animal welfare principles<\/a><\/strong>, visitors could profit from the presence of a dedicated team to know more about the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/fisheries\/cfp\/emff_en\">European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) 2014-2020<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s contents and access requirements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>EMFF is one of the five European Structural and Investment (ESI) Funds which aims at <strong>helping fishermen <\/strong>in the transition to sustainable fishing, <strong>supporting coastal communities<\/strong> in diversifying their economies, financing projects that <strong>create new jobs<\/strong> and <strong>improve quality of life<\/strong> along European coasts, and <strong>making it easier for applicants to access financing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Finally, Friend of the Sea\u2019s choice of AquaFarm, in the year of its 10th anniversary, confirms its appreciation for the role of Pordenone\u2019s trade show and expo as a reference event for aquaculture, verticalfarming and algaculture,
