The fishing vessels, now approved by Friend of the Sea, are audited on site in the course of the initial audit and surveillances.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: large;\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\">The review of the status of stock of the Maroccan fisheries is assessed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/fishery\/rfb\/cecaf\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FAO Fishery Committee for the Eastern Central Atlantic<\/a> (CECAF), while the status of the stock of sprat in the Atlantic Ocean is inspected by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ices.dk\/Pages\/default.aspx\">International Council for the Exploration of the Sea<\/a> (ICES).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: large;\"><span style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;\">A precautionary management approach is applied in managing the anchovy\u2019s fishery, also in consideration of the strong influence of environmental changes on biomass variability.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Andr\u00e9a Linton<\/b>, Manager Natural Products Division at Crown Prince, declares: \u201c<i>Crown Prince is committed to sourcing product from third party certifiers of sustainable fish harvests.\u00a0 <b>Working with Friend of the Sea<\/b> increases the number of our products sustainably certified, further supporting our position as <b>a supplier of responsibly harvested seafood product<\/b> to the U.S. marketplace<\/i>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>Crown Prince <\/b>is committed to working with suppliers who <b>value<\/b> and <b>practice environmentally<\/b> and socially responsible business. At this end, it has created a <b>Supplier Standards document<\/b> that outlines the core commitments to social and environmental accountability and is currently developing a <b>Supplier Scorecard<\/b> to assess how each of its suppliers is impacting the environment and their community.
