The Marpesca Group has been engaged in responsible fishing for over 60 years. The company is based in Panama, but coordinates fishing and distribution in Ecuador, the US and Spain. They own five tuna boats of more than 1000 tons each. Fishing activities take place in the Pacific Ocean. The company distributes tuna, sole, swordfish, sea bream and all kinds of prawns and shrimp. <\/p>\n
The tuna industry is increasingly demanding that products from sustainable fishing processes. Aware of this, Grupo Marpesca has done the challenging work and made investments in incorporating new requirements, processes and certifications necessary to be at the forefront in terms of responsible and sustainable fishing.
