The captivating destination is also \u00a0known as the Enchanted Islands and named Galapagos after the Spanish word for the giant tortoises found there.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">The eight-day trip organized by the Galapagos Travel Center will allow participants to explore and enjoy the sights and sounds of the magnificent Islands while helping protect its flora and fauna through conservation initiatives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">The tour will commence in Las Grietas or Tortuga Bay. The line-up of activities includes\u00a0<b>scuba diving, snorkeling, a full day in the highlands,\u00a0<\/b>and a<b>\u00a0visit to one of the islands<\/b>. Travellers will be taken on a\u00a0<b>speed boat to San Cristobal &#8211; Junco, Puerto Chino, and Galapaguera<\/b>. The day tours may be available for 16 people, and 1 guide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 align=\"justify\">Conservationist Mario Passoni<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">The trip will also include a\u00a0<b>visit to El Garrapatero, a remote and sandy beach in Santa Cruz<\/b>, as well as a\u00a0<b>tour of the Tortoise Ranch<\/b>. The Galapagos offers an incredible variety of animal species; during this holiday, there will be the possibility of observing these intriguing animals at close quarters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;\">Visitors may spot\u00a0<b><i>marine and land iguanas, albatrosses, giant tortoises,\u00a0mockingbirds<\/i><\/b><i>,<\/i>\u00a0and many more.
