The fish oil at the base of the whole product line originates from approved Friend of the Sea fisheries.<\/p>\n<p>San Omega is a Norwegian company, developing and marketing Omega-3 fatty acids.<\/p>\n<p>The fish oil is sourced from sardines, mackerels and anchovies fished in the Atlantic Ocean by a Friend of the Sea approved purse seine fleet. The fishery is managed according to sustainable criteria, with highly selective fishing methods and from stocks that are not overfished nor overexploited.<\/p>\n<p>The fish oil stems from wild catch. The fishery takes place within the framework of a licensed, responsible production and it has achieved certification from the International Fishmeal and Fish Oil Organisation (IFFO).
